Life on earth is almost impossible without these small insects named bees.

Although for some people bees are just annoying insects that form around their heads, they are one of the most important roles on the entire planet. Moreover, if there were no bees, there would be no people.

Before you take steps to eliminate bees, keep in mind that they play an important role in producing our food. Indeed, bees pollinate approximately one-third of the food we eat. Understanding common bee behavior and characteristics can help you co-exist peacefully.

Here are just a few examples of foods for which they are responsible: almonds, apples, cassia, avocado, blueberry, cashew, coffee, cranberries, cucumber, eggplant, grapes, kiwi, mango, walnuts, peaches, pears, peppers, strawberries, mandarins, and watermelons.

The constant decrease in the number of bees in the world is becoming one of the big problems. For example, it is alarming that the number of bee colonies in the United States has decreased by as much as 27.4 percent, and only in the previous few years.

In the United States, bees make an economic profit of $ 15 billion a year, as much as this country produces vegetables a year.

Since the Second World War, bees have become extinct en masse, and the reason for that is the multiplied use of pesticides, especially neonicotinoids, which have a fatal effect on bees.

It is high time for civilization to understand the importance of these insects and start working on their survival.
