Actress Ellen Page announced that her name is now Elliot Page and now she is happy that she can declare herself as a transgender person.

Elliot Page(Transgender) was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia to Martha Philpotts, a teacher, and Dennis Page, a graphic designer. Page wanted to start acting at an early age and attended the Neptune Theater School.

Known for her starring role in the film Juno, and his other prominent film credits include roles in Christopher Nolan’s Inception, multiple X-Men movies, and the 2017 remake of Flatliners. Elliot Page presently stars on the Netflix series The Umbrella Academy.

A few days ago, Ellen, who is now a transgender person, posted an emotional message on social media:

“I feel tremendous gratitude for the amazing people who have supported me on this journey. I can’t explain to you how happy I am to finally be the authentic self now.”

Thirty-three-year-old Eliot Page will from now on using the pronoun “he”/”they”. Since 2018, he has been married to professional dancer Emma Portner.

“It’s true, despite the fact that I feel happy at the moment and I know how privileged I am, I’m also afraid. I’m afraid of hatred,” jokes “and violence. To be clear, I’m not trying to downplay this happy moment, but I want to see the full picture. I love being transgender And the more I know who I am and the more I dream, the more I grow and progress I want to say to all trance people who experience bullying, abuse and threats: I see you, I love you and I will do everything I can to change this world for the better. “
