A Distant Galaxy Begins to Fade Away: Is Something Like That Threatening Our Planet !?

Astronomers and scientists from the European Southern Observatory have discovered how one of the distant galaxies in space is beginning to fade. That could be a significant discovery in understanding the universe and the life of galaxies.

The distant galaxy they discovered was losing its power and “fuel” with the help of which it produces stars. ESO believes that the extinction of a galaxy was caused by a collision with another galaxy.

According to the European Southern Observatory, galaxies die when they stop forming stars.

According to ESO, the distant galaxy formed by the collision is known as ID2299. “This is the first time we have observed a typical massive star-forming galaxy in outer space that will die due to mass ejection of gases,” says Anagracia Puglisi, a lead researcher in the new study.

Gas ejection occurs at high speed, and since the galaxy also creates stars very quickly, hundreds of times faster than our Milky Way, the remaining gas will be consumed quickly. “I was thrilled to discover such an extraordinary galaxy. Also, I was convinced that there are certain processes that can teach us how distant galaxies work and how their evolution actually goes,” said Anagracia Puglisi.

Since the galaxy discovered by researchers via the ALMA system is 9 billion light-years away, astronomers actually recorded an event that they say occurred at a young stage in space, when it was “only” 4.5 billion years old.

Also, scientists believe that there is currently no danger of extinction for our galaxy and that it is unlikely that something similar could happen in the next few billion years. The reason why there is currently no danger of the disappearance of our galaxy is primarily its structure, as well as the age of the star from our galaxy, or the Sun.

However, the Sun burns huge reserves of hydrogen, and its power is constantly growing. In a billion years, the sun’s rays will be ten percent stronger than today, and the temperature across our planet will rise to 30 degrees Celsius. However, this is not the end, astrophysicists believe.

In about 3.5 billion years, therefore, less than the Earth has a year now, the Sun will shine 40 percent stronger, and life on Earth will disappear at the latest.
